Information we collect
Meowstrology stores the cat profile details and quiz answers you provide, a pseudonymous account identifier, subscription status, generated readings, and limited technical data required to operate the service. Your selected cat portrait is kept in the app’s private storage on your device.
Photo analysis
A portrait is sent for analysis only after Meowstrology Pro is verified and you continue the reading. It is transmitted securely for temporary processing and is not saved in our Supabase database or file storage. The portrait is not used to train our own models.
Services we use
Supabase provides authentication and protected application data. RevenueCat processes subscription status, Apple processes App Store payments, and OpenAI processes the portrait and reading request. Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
Local drafts remain on your device until you restart the app flow or remove the app. Generated readings and profile snapshots remain so interrupted readings can resume. You can delete cloud data from the Profile screen. Apple subscription records are managed separately by Apple and RevenueCat.
Your choices
You can use the free teaser without sending a portrait for AI analysis. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple ID subscription settings, restore an eligible purchase from the paywall or Profile screen, and delete saved cloud profile data in the app.
Children and sensitive information
Meowstrology is an entertainment app and is not intended to collect information about children. Do not include people, private documents, or sensitive information in cat portraits.
